Three ladies made it back home

28 augustus 2014 - Antwerpen, België

Hello dear bloggers :)

So we've been home for a few days now.
There's not much more to add to our travel stories but I just wanted to thank all the commited readers of our blog throughout our tour. It was fun to hear that many of you were really following all of our adventures. I didn't think there was going to be any interest at all, except maybe from parents who want to make sure we're safe and sound :) I mainly started this blog because it's a nice memory to this trip afterwards.

Anyway, the last day in Milan we didn't do that much anymore. I spent a little bit more at the spa in the morning because I woke up early. By the time Janna and Inge woke up and had breakfast, we had to check out and we left Milan for a long drive back to Belgium. The drive went pretty smooth, even though it was raining almost the entire time. I guess the Weather Gods were sad to see us leave :(

During this trip I have learned a lot about myself and about my travel companions, but most of all... I have learned a lot about Italy, the culture, the food, the sights and the country itself. Here are some interesting, but completely useless, things to know about Italy:

- Italian men love to flirt but are very polite and gentle about it
- Italian women are more aggressive than Italian men behind the wheel of a car
- Italians love Poodles and Dachshunds (you know, the long stretched dogs with the short paws, teckles in Dutch)
- Sitting down to eat or drink costs a lot of money, especially in the big cities.
- There's a big difference between the North and the South

On this note I'm saying goodbye but hopefully I get the chance to do more trips like this one....I'm already making plans in my head :) Maybe Africa, Australia, South America,  the States, Asia.... Damn, I wanna do it all :)

See ya! :*
