Save the best for last.....

Ok, Verona is not our last stop but definitely the best so far.... and for those who followed our blog know that we've seen a lot of amazing things during our vacation. It's a beautiful city with many sights to see like The Arena for example, it's the Roman Amphitheatre, which last night was used as an opera house. Besides that we also saw Ponte Pietra, Castle San Pietro, Basilica San Zeno, Piazza dei Signori, Castelvecchio, Ponte Scaligero and so many other things. Almost every street leads you to a beautiful square, building, church, bridge or whatever. And on top of that everything is very clean and well maintained, the people are much more friendly than in Venice and everything is nearby so you can easily walk from one sight to another.
We also visited Casa di Giulietta, from the famous Romeo and Juliet story by Shakespeare. It is definitely a must-see but it was way too crowded and commercialized. If you want to you can even stand on the famous balcony but then you'll have to pay € 6.
To us, Verona is the number one city so far. Two thumbs up!
I'm definitely coming back with my future hubby, lol.
Today we're leaving Verona and heading on to our next stop.... the end is getting near :(
