Memorable Venice

We all loved it! Such a beautiful and magical city.
A lot of tourists though, but that is something you got to accept in Venice.

Our hotel is 10 minutes outside of the city center so this morning we took the shuttle bus from our hotel to Piazzale Roma, the 'entrance' of Venice. Our goal was to take it slow with not too much walking, since we've been walking a lot these last weeks. But before we even realized it, we were already walking around in this amazing city for more than 5 hours.

We took the bus back to our hotel around 5pm because we were dead tired, with the idea to eat dinner at the hotel and go to bed at a decent hour. But eventually we found ourselves heading back to the city center all dressed up for a nice dinner alongside the water 'Venice by Night'-style.

Now finally back at our hotel for a short night because tomorrow at 8am we're already getting up to head on to our next stop..... Verona!
